Today I read a really interesting thought piece from Bernard Marr, one of the world's top 5 business influencers, internationally best-selling author, and globally recognized technology advisor. In his piece 7 Critical Education Trends That Will Define Learning in 2025, one of the first key trends shaping education in 2025 is the idea of "human centric skills back on the curriculum." It identified how education is undergoing a transformation, and by 2025, the most valuable lessons won't come from tedious memorization or standardized testing but rather from the development of of critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.

As AI reshapes industries, the workforce will demand individuals who are able to excel in areas that machines cannot replicate—emotional intelligence, adaptability, and strategic thinking. While traditional education historically has prioritized technical knowledge, the future belongs to those who can think, speak, and lead effectively. This means that education institutes should more and more focus on nurturing soft, "human" skills." I believe that there is a greater trend that they way human leaders and professionals will distinguish themselves in the age of AI is by being able to use knowledge to navigate an increasingly complex world.

Institutions that recognize this shift will be at the forefront of the education revolution. Forward-thinking programs already prioritize debate, public speaking, and analytical reasoning as core components of learning. The most successful students and professionals will not be those who simply absorb information but those who can synthesize it, challenge conventional wisdom, and articulate ideas compellingly.

I’m excited to see how this new era of education plays out, helping to create sharp thinkers and strong communicators who are ready to take on whatever the future throws their way.
